Fleet Maintenance & Service Contracts
A truck in the bay for something that could’ve been caught early costs more than the repair — it costs the miles it didn’t run. Scheduled PM keeps trucks earning instead of discovering problems on the shoulder.
What downtime actually costs
An unscheduled breakdown doesn’t just cost the repair — it costs the load that didn’t move, the driver sitting idle, and whatever it takes to cover the route. Scheduled maintenance is the predictable version of that same cost, and predictable is cheaper every time.
PM-A, PM-B, PM-C — on real intervals
PM-A · ~10k–15k mi
Oil and filter, lube, fluid top-off, visual inspection, tire pressure.
PM-B · ~30k–45k mi
PM-A plus fuel filters, air filter, brake inspection and adjustment, air dryer, driveline lube, coolant test.
PM-C · ~90k–120k mi / annual
PM-B plus DOT annual inspection, transmission/differential service, full brake assessment, aftertreatment inspection, cooling system service.
DOT compliance and recordkeeping
DVIR support, roadside inspection prep, and CSA score improvement are part of how we run PM, not an add-on. We document what we inspect and what we repair — that record is yours, not just a sticker on the windshield.
The aftertreatment PM argument
Sensors cause 40 to 60 percent of derates. Aftertreatment failure rates climb sharply in the 300,000 to 450,000 mile window. Both are predictable enough to schedule around — proactive aftertreatment PM is cheaper than a derated truck on the shoulder every time.
Priority scheduling for contract fleets
Fleet accounts get a single point of contact and priority scheduling — not first-come-first-served against walk-in traffic. Setting one up starts with a conversation about what you run, so the quickest way in is to call the shop on (708) 952-4940.
