Commercial Truck Alignment
Misalignment doesn’t announce itself — it just eats tires faster than it should, one edge at a time, until a fleet manager notices the replacement schedule creeping up. We check thrust angle and toe on the whole tractor, not just the steer axle.
Symptoms we see
| Symptom | Likely cause | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| Uneven or rapid tire wear on one edge | Toe misalignment on the steer or drive axle | Measure toe and camber on all axles, not just the steer axle |
| Truck pulls to one side | Uneven caster or a thrust angle issue between the tractor and trailer | Check caster and thrust angle together |
| Dog tracking — trailer riding at an angle behind the tractor | Thrust angle misalignment, often from a bent axle or suspension component | Measure thrust angle and inspect for bent components before adjusting |
| Steering wheel off-center when driving straight | Toe or caster misalignment | Full alignment check and adjustment to bring the wheel back to center |

What the job involves
We measure toe, caster, and camber across the tractor, and thrust angle between the tractor and trailer — a steer-axle-only alignment misses problems that still burn through tires.
Tire wear patterns tell us a lot before we even put the truck on the rack — feathering, one-edge wear, and cupping each point toward a different alignment issue.
If we find a bent axle or suspension component causing the misalignment, we tell you that directly — an alignment won’t fix a bent part, it’ll just mask it temporarily.
This is the page in our lineup most worth doing proactively — catching misalignment early saves a lot more in tires than the alignment itself takes to do.
What drives the cost
What this costs depends on how many axles need adjustment, whether a bent component is causing the misalignment, and how far out of spec the truck currently is. We tell you after we look at it, before we start.
Common questions
How do I know if my truck needs an alignment?
Uneven or rapid tire wear is the biggest tell — one-edge wear, feathering, or cupping. We check tire wear patterns as part of every alignment visit.
Does alignment really affect tire cost that much?
Yes — misalignment is one of the fastest ways to burn through a set of tires early. It’s one of the better preventive investments a fleet can make.
Why does the trailer matter if you’re only aligning the tractor?
Thrust angle — how squarely the tractor’s rear axle points relative to what it’s pulling — is part of a proper tractor alignment. We measure it; we don’t service the trailer itself.
Can alignment fix a truck that pulls to one side?
Often, yes — but if a component is bent, alignment alone won’t fix it. We tell you which situation you’re in.
What does an alignment cost?
Depends how many axles need adjustment and whether anything’s bent. We check before quoting.

Suspension & Steering Repair
A truck that wanders, pulls, or rides rough usually points to worn suspension or steering components — air springs, torque rods, kingpins, or the steering gear itself. We inspect the whole front end before replacing individual parts.

Tire Service & Replacement
Uneven wear, a slow leak, or a blown casing on the road — we handle tire replacement, mounting, balancing, and flat repair for Class 6–8 trucks. Wear patterns often point back to alignment, and we check that connection instead of just swapping the tire.
